Congratulations and welcome to the Airdrie Professional Firefighters Association and the Airdrie Fire Department. By joining our ranks, you are becoming part of a storied legacy of professionalism, safety, and solidarity that spans over a century within the IAFF.
This portal has been designed as your central hub for orientation. As a new recruit, amongst your many priorities, we would appreciate your efforts to ensure your administrative standing with the Association is current. This ensures we can properly represent you and advocate in a meaningful way for you individually and for all members represented by the APFFA. Communication with our members is one of the most important aspects you can help us with by completing some onboarding paperwork. This will allow us to transfer you to the Local 4778 roster, reach out by email and text when needed, and provide you access to our secure website through a google account assigned to you, which includes an @airdriefirefighters.com email address.

Sign the Required Signatures page (consent forms for media images, SMS messaging and consent for the use of personal information collected by the Association.
Submit your Initiation Dues via Electronic Money Transfer (treasurer@airdriefirefighters.com)
Once you are set up with your new Google Airdrie Firefighters Association email - Complete the Emergency Notification form.

This basic demographic information allows us to start the process of registering you with the IAFF and providing you an @airdriefirefighters.com account.
In communicating with you, retaining your personal information, and photographing for Association promotions and social media, there are several releases for you to review and sign. Total time is only 2-3 minutes.
As members of the Airdrie Professional Firefighters Association, all new recruits are required to pay an initiation fee when they join the Local. This requirement is set out in Article 8 of the Association Constitution and By-Laws.
